Muhlenberg is a haven to two very different kinds of people: (1) Extremely hard working cerebral studs (2) Rich Daddy's son/daughter who have succeeded being mediocre and rich. This blend doesn't exactly lead itself to a great environment and student "blend," however if you are going for education, I would find it hard to believe that any Ivy League school could surpass Muhlenberg. The professors and educational resources are outstanding. The opportunities for academic growth are phenomenal. The professors with few exceptions are passionate about what they teach and it shows. This is a school to go to if you crave and dream about learning and expanding your horizons. If you are looking for a social life, you would have better luck in a convent. If you are looking for the Hollywood portrayal of college, try Lehigh. Tough to say if I would go back if I had to pick again, because this school is so one sided. I left with a world class education and a lot of connections, but I can't say I had "the best years of my life" here.
