You must not be very smart. Don't you understand that having an almost entirely "non-white" student body is the very essence of diversity?! People like you, people who aren't with the official program, people who think differently—we don't want your kind around, since you are opposed to diversity. If you aren't a person who believes what we believe about group identity, then don't come to UCI! We only want people who value diversity! |
So having an all Asian school is diverse ? |
Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
UCI, as its more commonly know University of Chinese and Indians. Which pretty much states a fact that there is ZERO diversity here. The city is horrendously boring, most students commute, whether in the city is somewhat hot- even though the beach is 10 miles away. As far as classes go: most professors seem well-to-do, some are too busy, the ta's are generally helpful but sometimes aren't sure about what they're doing.I'm white and definitely feel like an outsider here. If your non-asian it will be somewhat difficult to stand it for very long as you'll mostly be ignored. The careers opportunities are limited as well, for Christ's sake life insurance recruiters were ogling over my resume! The school spirit is piss poor. It's just a very unfortunate situation being here (but practical given the proximity to "better things")
