Towson University

Major: Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
Sadly, after my freshman year ended I transferred out of Towson. My first semester I was terribly unhappy at the school. I lived on campus. My classes were great. My teachers were extremely nice and helpful. The people I spoke with were nice.. but it was my own fault of not making a better first impression of the campus. College is definitely PARTIALLY what you make of it. Second semester rolled along and I made SOOOOOO many new friends and had plans to do things during almost every point in my day. I was really happy. My courses, again, were for the most part good. I had a great history professor- who was completely trashed on ratemyprofessors.com. A word to the wise, dont base your entire schedule off of the reviews on that site. Make your own opinions.—Anyway, after an awesome spring semester I am leaving Towson. This is mostly thanks to my first semester nerves. I had applied to other colleges and accepted admission to another school before I learned how awesome Towson really is. Just give it a chance. Parking is completely horrible, but people somehow manage. The campus isn't that attractive—driving down Charles St. passing other colleges makes you sick because theyre so attractive! The food is okay, but its college, the food isnt suppose to be fantastic.
