CSUN is an awesome school. I will be graduating December 08 and almost every single professor I've had has had their PhD. Also, almost every professor I've had is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help you out if you need it. One of my professors even helped me write my resume on his own time with no monetary incentive, and another teacher helped a friend of mine out by hooking him up with JD Power and he now has an internship there.

For the most part, the courses are challenging. I have a 3.5 GPA, so what you put into your courses is what you'll get out of it GPA wise. Sorry people, you're not going to just float by and get an A, it takes a lot of work.

The experience I've had at CSUN academically is very positive and I have had the honor to be a student of many great professors here.

On the other hand, the first year I was there, the counselors were not very helpful and I had to figure out my required classes pretty much on my own, with the help of some other fellow classmates. For those of you who want the real "college experience", well, this is a commuter school, however, I do know that CSUN has some pretty good parties, and if you live in the dorms or close by you'll have no problem partying it up or getting to know a lot of people.

Finally, the first time I went to CSUN, I was extremely surprised at how beautiful and well kept the campus was. The outside of the library is very beautiful, and many of the buildings are very modern, some of them just built this last year, like some of the food courts. With everything said and done, this is an excellent school all around, and for the tuition and everything, it is quite the bargain.
