Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose Penn College because I could live at home and commute the 5 minutes to campus. I don't regret it at all. Majoring in Early Childhood is the best decision I've ever made actually. The Education professors know everything about everything, and you have so much field work it seems ridiculous but is very helpful. Yes, Penn accepts like 97% of applicants, but you have to work for your grades, it's not just a cake walk. So I've read all the other comments, and first of all, yes we have crime and it's been elevated lately but that happens EVERYWHERE! Second of all, if you wanted a night life, you came to the wrong place. Trust me, born and raised in Williamsport we entertain ourselves. Third of all, yes the male-female ratio is 70-30 but it's a tech school! Most majors are male oriented (ex. forestry & welding & construction), and we girls aren't "snooty" because we have our choice of men, it's because none of you are suitable to date, and personally I came to college to GET AN EDUCATION, not a boyfriend.
