Please everyone, save yourself A LOT of money and time by not going to Hofstra.Student Services and accounts are totally useless. They lost my letter of graduation from high school twice, lost transfer credits I had from Syracuse University THREE TIMES. If you call any department asking for help, you will be put on hold for at least 20 minutes, and then given vague answers by someone who clearly has no clue what they're saying. The student body here sucks. All your typical snotty Long Island bitches and their male equivalents, sporting Gucci, Prada, Louis Vitton and whatnot. The cars are ridiculous, so many BMWs with stupid vanity plates like "C U L8R" and "BREWMASTER"—what do they care, it's just another expense on daddy's bill after all.If you're looking for a school with fun, offbeat people who have interests other than drinking, spending money, and going to the gym…you won't find anyone here. The professors are nice enough, I did meet one or two really fantastic professors. Also, Hofstra is in a really ghetto-ass neighborhood, and public safety is completely useles, so watch your back and don't park your care in any isolated spots.Just don't go, if you're not a jock or a sorority girl you won't make any friends, the tuition is an utter rip off, and the classes are easy…you won't learn anything here
