I love Moody. This is a place that can really be a good experience for a select group of people. The academics are rigorous, the city is amazing, the profs love their students, and the structure was implemented with spiritual growth in mind for each student. No one place can please everybody, but I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go into full-time Christian ministry. The social atmosphere and approachability of upperclassmen and faculty/staff are exceptional. Many of the older students and the overwhelming majority of the faculty genuinely care for the students. It is a real and encouraging picture of what it is to love one another in Jesus' name. If you come here, you will be challenged to think and behave in new and sometimes seemingly unorthodox ways. Come with an open mind and a passion for Jesus, and Moody will send you off with an equipped intelligence and the ministry (and living) experience that can only come from working for God in a city as diverse and needy as Chicago. I absolutely love it here!
