My
concentration was finance and the faculty consisted of only a
few full-time instructors. The finance department is having problems
finding full-time instructors because their salary offerings are low compared
to its competitors.
The department wasn’t helpful in
networking with institutions in the surrounding areas to find internships
for the students. The finance club is inactive and the
finance instructors are not willing to make the club prosper
once again. I graduated with a sense of regret because
I felt like I accomplished nothing. If you are an
accounting or finance major, do not come to this university.
