statesboro is a really small town. there is a clear disctinction between students and townies. the townies all love the business that students bring in but want to keep their small town community. this is perhaps why statesboro has not seen much growth. we are finally getting a books-a-million and a chilis if that tells you anything. students are all about drinking, partying, football. there are a lot of frats and soriorities so be prepared for lots of fake blondes and boat shoes. personally i came from central florida and the amount of conservative christians here is atrocious. if you love southern culture (i.e., football, small-town, drinking, big trucks) this is your school
