Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I attended here from Spring of 2004 until the end of the Spring 2005 semester when I walked and received my Associate Degree in Business. This is a good school no matter what people might say. The downside is the social life as Franklin is dead and there is really not much to do. You will need a good friend with a car who lives around Boston or Providence to have some semblance of a social life. The teachers were pretty good and enthusiastic and when I talked to them many of them were very established business people who knew what they were talking about. Overall, I found some of the students to be snotty sometimes, it is such a small school so you get tired of seeing the same people all the time everywhere you go. I am introverted so I kept to myself but my rooomate and me were tight and he was really cool and from Boston so we would go to the Bean and party of weekends. All you have to do is come here, go to your classes and do the work and you will have a good school to transfer and a shot at a way better quality of life than before. Many people here would bitch about how boring it is and it is so lame blah blah but the truth is it is probably the best move you can make. I came there and buckled down, my first semester I had a 1.8 because I was still in party mode from my first community college that I flunked out of. Then i got my act together and got on the ball and graduated in 3 semesters with my AA and a 3.5 GPA. There were kids there that were there for a year before me and they were taking 2 and 3 years to get their AA degree. Just focus, the work is not hard just do it and you will be transferring to a excellent 4 year school, dont worry about the social life because you will have plenty of that at northeastern or other schools you trans to. Also, it is easy to get with girls there because there is absolutely nothing to do some there are some benefits to it. This school also serves a particular demographic of students. These are all rich kids who fucked up at their first school and this is their last chance so they are busy complaining instead of handling their business and getting out of there when it is there fault in the first place. No one who aced high school and could go straight to Boston College or Brown is gonna come here. You also have some athletes who are coming on scholarship with alot of their shit paid for by the school. Oh ya the campus security can be jerks but they are a joke here remember they are there to serve you and just be discreet about your shit take a walk or blunt ride to smoke and keep your alcohol concealed in ur backpack till you get to ur room, keep the noise down in the dorms, the schools has little party nights like thirsty thursdays where everyone is drinking. I had fun here and i miss it sometimes i could see where it is a tiny boring school and it sucked but you can make it something worthwhile. my life is alot better because i went here
