Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
To be honest…the only reason Im there is because I can't afford to move out. i live 45 minutes away which is annoying but driving everyday is still cheaper than moving out and going to a different school. FIRST OF ALL…What the heck did they do this year!!!!! There are way too many students everywhere!!! No parking!!! food joints are all packed out!!!As far as the academics go…I've probably had 3 good professors since I've been there…ones who actually want you to learn and give you legit work to do. The rest just give you BS busy work. It's all about who you know…cuz alot of time you just copy the answers from the previous semesters.Social Life= non existent. School spirit=non-existent. Its not like the school isnt putting any effort into trying to get people to have fun…because they are. ..but apparently people would rather just go home and do nothing all day rather than try and make the most of their university experience. You rarely see people hanging out (unless they're eating…seems to be the most common hobby)…what ever happened to throwing frisbee around or playing volleyball …simple things like that that make a school day less of a drag.My biggest beef…alot of times the way the school does things. Most of the time they are just stupid…plain and simple. For example, the SAC (which is supposed to be a "hang out spot") has pool tables and table tennis upstairs… but it doesnt open till 3!! By that time everyone's done classes and gone for the day… That's a minor point… but I could go on forever.The school was built too big too fast and is suffering…its kinda funny because thats exactly what happened with Charlotte!!
