Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Michigan Tech was the single greatest decision I have ever made. You learn to survive at MTU, whether it's survive a 24-hour long engineering problem or survive the winters. I came out of the school with a very realistic look at the "real world." I found other co-workers who would be "too smart" or too proud to get their hands dirty or perform different tasks. MTU prepared me to jump into a problem and help solve it - no matter what corporate level I find myself at. I would recommend the MTU experience to any student who is ready to work hard, be an important part of a corporate team, and looking for a truly unique undergraduate experience.
