Towson University

So as i am sitting here reading all of this feedback from other students, i cannot help but get pissed off. Towson is an amazing enviornment. The people are friendly, and approachable, contrary to what others may post. If you enter campus with a negative attitude, people arent going to let you in. But if you paint a smile on your face, and put your best foot forward, low and behold you will have good experiences with other individuals. Im sure you have heard this a thousand times, but college is what you make of it. If you are constantly judging peoples motifs, and personalities, you are going to have a miserable time, no matter where you attend college. Towson specifically, though i have only been here about 2 months, has granted me with nothing but positive experiences. School work is easier than i expected, but i am taking general education classes, and i am not going to complain that i am not struggling academically. In terms of the night life, all of these people have no idea what they are talking about. I have made more friends here than i can even keep count of, and every night (monday through sunday) my phone is buzzing off the wall with invites to parties, bars that are offering specials, and just fun things to do with people that i have met here. I have YET to experience a dull moment at towson. There is so much opportunity to go out, and make crazy memories with your friends, and it makes me mad to see that people say the night life is "dull" because as far as I'm concerned, it is the COMPLETE opposite. If anything, i would say my friends and I have been having too much fun. Come Thursday on this campus, everyone is pumped up and ready to go out and have a great time. The surrounding area is full of bars, students partying and having fun, shopping, and great places to eat, tan, and just explore. Not to mention, the food on campus is great considering its coming from a dining hall, and the living conditions are impecable. I live in the new dorms where i have my own bathroom, and state of the art appliances, and accomadations. so here is my advice to fellow students who posted negative comments…Get out of your room, make some friends, and stop blaming this amazing place for your misery. I LOVE TOWSON!
