If you receive anything from this school during admission process, save it. If they tell you how your previous credits will transfer, save it. They told me that my Japanese would transfer as Japanese 101, 102, and 103. Turns out that without the letter, they couldn't give me the credit. Not to mention that if you are a type two from attending other colleges, OSU will still treat you as a freshman but deny you stuff like freshman forgiveness.

Be prepared for people working jobs that they don't know how to do. Lose your buck ID and you're screwed. The dorm staffs don't know what they are doing and most likely the temporary cards are demagnetized. The dorm staffs have had this problem before, but they don't do anything to remedy it. Double check everything twice.

If you aren't dirt poor, don't expect work-study and don't expect to get a job on campus outside of Ohio State Calling or food service for the first year. Everything is work study except those two and the occasional lab job that requires you to be a sophomore or junior.

Bikes get stolen a lot on campus and some TAs don't care or have no idea what they talking about.

Then my sister also had an experience where she was told she could graduate and she received her diploma. A few days later she was told that she did not have enough credits to graduate so she made an appointment with her counselor. Turns out that she had graduated. It would be nice if the school could get their information straight.
