I have had a very poor academic experience at Iona College. The professors have been very inaccessible and often look down on the students. Classes are just lectures with very little or no interaction. The student body is diverse but is very, very fragmented. It is very clickish and the upper administration are more interested in the students paying the college fees than interacting with the student body. As for the social scene, it just revolves about getting drunk in the bars in New Rochelle. The sport teams are treated like royalty while the other members of the student body are constantly being ignored.
