I was there when president Carter was appointed and everyone knows his position was not advertised. Everyone was talking about it and about his sleazy character. He calls everyone "my friend" but his really the worst to care about anyone . . . and I hold him responsible for fmu's worst reputation in SC. I graduated from fmu in 2005 but I never could get a job in my major because fmu has a bad reputation in the region. Everyone knows about the poor education you get at fmu. So, even if you are good and you can learn on the job, they still think of you as a loser. I have many HS classmates who attended Clemson U, Coastal Carolina University, or Darlington Tech. They are all doing well but I don't know anyone who graduated from my class of 2005 with a job. They are all unemployed or working for minimum wage. If you attend fmu or plan to do so, you will be seeing this sad reality.
