If you got mediocre grades in high and are looking for a charming, small, friendly university that won't challenge you very much - Suffolk is the place for you. It really is a nice place, but this is Boston, and there is WAY better. I am working hard to transfer to Northeastern or BU. Otherwise, it is in the safest and cleanest area of Boston. It is VERY SAFE. The faculty cares about you, classes are small (~15 - 30).Students tend to be on the superficial side. They aren't very smart and are only concerned with parties. Also, there is limited space in the dorms so many students end up being very lonely living alone. It is not a bad school, and if you embrace it you will enjoy yourself very much here.
