EAC is what you make of it. It can be best 2 years (or 3 ;) ) or it can be a living nightmare. There isn't much going on as far as the town goes, but there is a ton of adventure to be found in the surrounding desert, the forested mountain, and the nearby rivers and hot springs. The class sizes are small, which means that all your professors know you by name and there is more teacher-student interaction than at a large university. You aren't just a number. EVERYONE here is super friendly and helpful. So if you like a low key, laid back environment, then EA is the place to be. Plus, you can't beat the price.
