From
architecture standpoint. Do not get me wrong, the NewSchool of
Architecture is up-and-coming, but it is lacking the knowledge we
need for this career. There are many improvements on the
way due to a new owner (Laureate Education, inc.) The
school looks way better. the environment is awesome because it
is a very small private school of on about 500.
All of the general education classes are focused around architecture.
1st year (freshman year) is just all arts... that's why
people drop out because of the art aspect. But once
you get through 1st year... It's all architecture. It's awesome...
challenging and VERY TIME CONSUMING, but challenging. I love it
everyone is cool, but way to damn expensive for lacking
the technology the school has... but improvements are definitely on
the way... You better come to the school now, before
it's too late, because it's getting harder each year to
get accepted. Overall, great school because of small/family environment,
but it definitely needs student activites!! Hey,
we are in the heart of San diego, though!!!
