Coppin State University

Coppin State University is the school people go to when they cannot afford or get into anywhere else. Most students, like me, commute so there arent usually alot of fun activities going on around campus. Many are non-traditional students. Its like a 5 step-up from a community college. Not much to look forward to if your a commuter…However, I am enrolled in the Honors College and some of the coursework is actually challenging. Most professors want to help and are friendly. The surrounding area is in the city, near a mall and near public transportation. I personally has lived in Baltimore all my life and want something more diverse. I'm probably gonna transfer next year. If you are a nursing student, coppin is the place to be.

P.S.- Try to get into the honors college if you can (even though sometimes its annoying) but tuition is free and its easier to make friends because a few classes all freshman take together.
