Manhattan College

I am a 16 year old boy, taking college level courses at this school.

Well, I can't tell you much about the schools faculty and classes in general. I can tell you though that school needs to clean UP! The walls are chipping everywhere, and my high school is cleaner. And that whole "quad" thing needs to be burnt! I walked there because I needed a nice small place to read (i like poeple around me as i read) and immediatly a faculty member began screaming at me because I didn't remove my shoes!!! I understand that is tradition, but he needs to learn how to behave in a professional manner.

DORMS!

here is something I REALLY want to discuss. HAVE U SEEN THOSE DORMS? Seriously? and u still want to go? I guess you could live in a two by four (inches). Thats fine, but what about a 9 people dorm with two bathrooms? Not to mention everything is painted that "prison" blue, like what you would observe on TV. Its terrible. My window was partly underground!! NO JOKE! (would be good for sneaking out)

FOOD.

WHAT THE **** IS THIS? First off, the dining hall :rolleyes: (the ghetto cafeteria) is only accessible through the roof! yes it sounds romantic and beautiful… no it really isnt. you have to cross a bridge-like structure to get there, and not to mention the fact that if you are on the first floor u have to go up about 5 or six to eat… but wait theres more! the food NEVER changes… with an exception to the special… which quiet frankly always sucked (excuse my language)! there is never a place to sit.

The only thing nice about this school is the library… i never see people in it, but its really nice!

Btw, dorms are carpeted… no, no one cleans them… yes it smells like urine… i dont know why and I DONT CARE! u might get lucky and get the dorm that smells like vomit, it can almost pass off as scented candles. there is a train nearby, and I love new york, so getting there was quick, however its not a safe place, trust me.

I'm putting this in advice because I'm not technically a student, and I only really came here to describe the dorms.

My classes actually looked small… well they didnt have too many chairs, which means it probably keeps classes under 50 students.

Again, I am a high school student now. (senior) My dorm advice should be taken seriously, because I have seen dorms from other schools, and personally I'd be embarassed to say I live there!
