Greensboro College

Greensboro College is located in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is a private college with ties to the Methodist church. The school is very old and very dirty. It costs over $30,000 to go here and many if not all of the students are left wondering where all the money is going. The dorm West, where I live, is extremely dirty. There is food and other "shit" in the halls, stairs, and bathrooms. The halls are unclean with rotten food and trash everywhere. It is impossible to climb the stairs with out stepping on old food and/or trash. The bathrooms are living sesspools, very unclean. The water has a strange disturbing taste to it. The sinks have mold filling them and the toilets usually have poop on the seats or left unflushed. The dorm rooms are were only cleaned with bleach before move-in. The mattresses are old and spring, they are uncomfortable and usually have stains on them. Like normal there are parties every night with loud music and the typical drunks. People will flip the power off and on, making us late to classes. The laundry room is very dirty and it is not uncommon to get your laundry stolen. it costs 2 dollars to do laundry.

Someone's dorm room was broken into and mostly everything was stolen. Greensboro college did nothing and refused to pay for stolen goods.

The main building is surprisingly clean.

The food in the cafeteria is edible, it is only okay and it is not uncommon to get leftovers. The cafeteria staff is rude and make mean comments to students. The cafeteria is open three times a day for two hours.

Teachers are nice and understanding.

The dorms are the worst part of the college.

Some advice would be make sure you get into Hill Dorm, it is a step above West Dorm. Do not live on campus if you live in the area. Choose another college on your list, or debate on going to a community college. Greensboro College is definitely not worth the money.
