I choose this school without actually coming to visit and I feel it has been a complete waste of time and money. Not only do you not get the education you should be receiving at $22,000 a year the social life is absolutely terrible. The campus is definitely beautiful and well kept however that only keeps you satisfied for about a week. The rules here are a little ridiculous and you are definitely not treated like the adults we should be growing into after college. Dr. Rutland is treated like a god and the best preacher in the world when in reality he is simply mediocre. This is my third post secondary institution and this has been by far my worst experience. First teams is a joke and is only matched by christ culture and the university in weekly time wasting.

I am not at all a complainer or pessimist however if I had known what this school was like before I came here I would definitely have choosen differently. This is quite a common feeling amongst fellow doormates as well.

I was really hoping the spiritual life here would be thriving however more than anything it is a system of forced chapel attendance, and fake christianity. obviously you can grow closer to God anywhere however since coming here I have actually found it harder.

They also will charge you for anything! curfew is 1am which doesn't sound bad but if you want to do anything fun you have to drive an hr away making it hard to get back by curfew.

As for teachers I love them all they are great people however a lot of the classes here are a joke and I feel that i am paying a lot of money for a second class education.

Personally I will definitely transfer from here… even though some of their credits dont transfer anywhere else. Check it out for yourself though but I definitely recommend coming to see the college and area though before you commit to 4 years here.

God bless I hope this helps.
