I did not want to attend Suffolk University, but after taking a gap year off, I was crazy to go into the first school I found; Suffolk was the lucky one, I suppose. That being said, I was surprised of how much I liked it. The faculty cares about you, the school work is challenging, and the location is great. The only negative thing that I can say is that some of the students are arrogant and not very bright. Also, I was disappointed with the "campus" which is composed of a few buildings in Downtown Boston.

I see there are many comments saying that the fact that there wasn't a campus made it hard to meet people… I've read the reviews of BU, Simmons, and UMass Boston and if you go right now to read them yourselves you'll notice the same comments. This is definitely going to sound like a clich, but college is what you make it. If you look for friends, you'll find them.

There are ALWAYS going to be negatives and positives. If students are very outgoing and fun, they will gain the reputation of slackers that only want to party. If the students' priority is to study and work, the whole student body doesn't have a school spirit and you won't meet anyone. Go to any review and you'll see for yourself.

If you like the school or if you're unsure, go; you could always transfer.
