Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
Seton Hall, in my opinion, is pretty good as far as academics goes. Unfortunately, all that glitters isn't gold. Most of the administrative offices are very disorganized and unhelpful. You need to be prepared to fight false charges on your account, and making sure that your loan/scholarship has been applied to your account. They're like kids, they need to be watched closely or something's going to get screwed up. Almost every student here, including those with a good amount or full scholarship, has had to fight financial aid at least once a semester. The nursing program is adequate. They do make sure that you have support throughout the program. The only kink is that they have problems with making enough spots in required courses (which is partly he universities fault). They're a bit stingy with transferring credits, but nursing is a difficult major to transfer in general. As far as the nightlife and activities, there aren't that many things to do in South Orange. My advice is to join some sort of club or organization;there are plenty of them and most of them host or participate fun and interesting events. If you're not into the Greek life seen, or don't want to join any clubs, you are out of luck socially. If you want to go to a party school, don't go here. The school is heavy on academics, so you should go to a state school if you want to party often. People complain that there is nothing to do, but that could have been avoided if they had surveyed the surrounding area BEFORE they applied. The dorms are small, but what did you expect? If you want lot of personal space then you should commute, live in an off-campus apartment, or go search the country for a school that has large dorm rooms (good luck). Overall, Seton Hall is what you make of it. If you made an informed decision about going here, you'll probably be satisfied. If you came without doing any research, you'll probably be disappointed. Know your stuff.
