I really do not like it here at UD. The reason I came here in the first place was because I heard how AMAZING it was - - everyone is super nice, there is ALWAYS something to do one the weekends, and everyone includes everyone. Wow…I was wrong. The first few weeks fooled me, and I was having a great time. But one word that comes to mind when I think of UD as a whole = HIGH SCHOOL. Cliques are everywhere. If you didn't go to high school with people or you aren't "accepted" within the first couple of weeks, you're pretty much screwed. I'm a really outgoing person, I've never been rude or mean to ANYONE here, and try to include myself in going out, etc. but no one is nice about it. Hm…and Dayton is supposed to be a "nice" school? I personally already know 5 people who are transferring either at semester or at the end of the year. The education is fine and all, but when your weekends aren't fun there's not much of a college experience. And I don't even HEAR about sporting events…great college life.
