Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Ok, here goes…Where to start? This school has been the ultimate waste of the last three years of my life. I've had some good experiences but the bad far outweighs the good. I'm an aeronautics major with flight. The flight line is great, I don't really have complaints there. I got a quality education from my flight instructors and have even established good friendships with some of them. The campus is another story, although I've had some good classes, in my aeronautics department the majority of the faculty are old retirees. They have oodles of experience and they don't make you forget it. Their experience is great…too bad they have no teaching skills and can't get the message across! Some of these teachers should have given up years ago. A handful of them are great people and I'll value the things I've learned from them but there are far more bad seeds in the department. The school needs to stop trying to appear so great on the exterior and weed out the bad before the credibility of the school is compromised.Social Life = Crap. That's all I have to say. College should be a fun great time of your life. It should extend beyond school work. This school, from my experience, provides only the educational aspect of that experience and they even do a bad job at that. Now on to the price. This school is WAAAYYY too overpriced. I don't see the money I spend applied anywhere. What am I paying for? I could get a WAY better education from a state school and pay a quarter of this.Bottom Line…If you aren't an engineer, look somewhere else. I beg you. I don't want anyone looking back on their time here like me and regretting their college life. College should be the best time of your life and these last few years surely haven't been for me.
