I just began attending UC Davis in the fall, and I love it. Being from Maryland, it was extremely difficult for me to decide to go so far away from home. But, after visiting the campus, after I had already decided to go there, I knew I had made the correct discussion. The campus itself is amazing. Beautiful trees everywhere, sunny all the time, very different from Maryland. Then the city surrounding the campus may not be as busy as New York City, but there is alot going on there too. You just have to go looking for it. Academically UC Davis has been a little less challenging than I expected, but that is probably because it is the first quarter. Also, something to note about Davis, its English program does indeed suck. I am not here for English, or History, or any humanities sort of education. Davis is known for its sciences, particularly animal, and arts, which is what I am going to school for. Thus, Davis was a perfect fit for me, it may not be for you.
