After being at Lynn for almost a semester, I honestly can not stand it.  Lets go over some things

Town-Boca Raton is very nice.  You can always find a good restaurant to go to.  There are a ton of golf courses if you like to play.  There is not much to do otherwise.  Most places close early because it is boca.  Boca is not a college town by any means.  If you want a college town and not a suburb, do not come here.  Miami is about an hour away which is nice.

Transportation- If you have a car, bring it.  Everything is far from campus.  You cant walk to the grocery store or walgreens.  If you dont have a car or a friend with one, you will be stuck on campus.  The tri-rail system is great.  It takes you from West Palm Beach to Miami for $2.  Flying into the south florida area is also easy.  Always fly to Ft.Lauderdale or West Palm Beach

Classes- Now that LU has switched to thier new cirriculum, classes are the biggest joke in the world.  I learned things in my freshman year of high school that they are teaching here.  Classes are a joke.

Campus- The campus is what will draw most students to come to the school.  You can't really beat 7 lakes and palm trees.  The residence halls are well maintained but, a dorm is a dorm.  Its gonna suck for the most part but, i have seen worse dorms.  I got placed in the nicest freshman dorm which is a lot nicer than the other ones.

Students- There are a lot of kids of are “ off”.  For the most part kids come from the NY tri state area, boston or florida.  There are a lot of trust fund kids who are there just because thier parents made them go to college.  There are good kids but a lot are very snooty and full of themselvs.  Kids at this school drink a lot.  Everybody smokes cigarettes.  If you want to find drugs, you can.  You will also know most of the kids at the school within your first few weeks.

Food- The food is discusting in the caf.  It is very repetitive and not good.  Knights Court is better but you do have to pay for the food.  Christines is a small cafe which is not bad.

Value- worst value known to man.  you pay the better part of 50 grand for a terrible degree.  Incredibly overpriced.

I would never come back to Lynn.  Going to LU was one of the worst decisions I have ever made in my life.  I can't wait to go to a real school next year.
