Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The Mechanical Engineering graduate program is extremely thin (minimal classes and no PhD). Sad, considering it's the largest undergrad department. The Materials Science/Metallurgy programs are very good, as well as Electrical Engineering. The research direction (based on ME department) is very misguided and there's very little industrial exposure.
