| Creighton
can be a really good experience or a really bad
experience, depending on what kind of person you are. If
you want an environment similar to high school, a somewhat
smaller campus and easy access to teachers, this isn't a
bad place to go to school. At the same time,
if you want a campus full of diversity, lots of
activity and students that want to challenge things, I wouldn't
come to Creighton. I've had a fine experience, not great,
not terrible. The Midwest isn't my favorite place in the
world, but the people are nice enough and Omaha is
a decent place to call home for four years. At
the same time, the only activity people really participate in
is drinking, so whether it's a house party, a bar
in the Old Market, or a Creighton basketball game, be
prepared to see a lot of alcohol. Most of the
teachers are friendly, though some have an arrogance about them,
but I think that's college professors in general. I don't
want to stay in Nebraska after graduation, so hopefully my
degree will help me get a job elsewhere. Overall, I'd
give the school a 6.5 out of 10. Some might
love it, others won't.
