If you're non-caucasian and considering attending ISU, rethink that decision…this is not exactly the most diverse campus in America and you should be prepared to encounter a lot of ignorant, farm-bred kids from podunk Iowa towns.However, because of the lack of diversity within the state, there are some great undergraduate as well as graduate scholarship opportunities for minorities. I'm not talking about small scholarships either, look into programs like the Multicultural Vision Program, Carver, Mc Nair, and GMAP. If you have solid grades, the school would be happy to pay your tuition!
