Major: Nuclear Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The University has a diverse campus; however, very SEGREGATED… racial groups are very cliquish you must make an effort to make the campus smaller. JOIN clubs and do activities you normally would avoid who knows you may like it… There are always things to do.YES this is a party school but trust me it is extremely easy to fall behind. With 40,000+ students on this campus you are just a number and professors will not take pity on you. Don't trick yourself into believing any class here will be "easy" they all require a lot of work.If you are used to getting A's and being the top of your class this school will humble you. Engineering is tough but make sure you find friends in all classes because group help is a necessity. If free tutoring is available… GO! I am not lying when I say the A student goes to tutoring and the B/C student does not. These resources are here to help you. Also if you come from a small town this campus may be a bit overwhelming but it a beautiful campus just make an effort to find your niche. There are many many clubs and groups on this campus.. if you can't find one for you then start your own! The school is very supportive of new groups. So overall the experience is what you make of it… obviously if you aren't keeping track of your hw and not going to lectures you will HATE it here because you WILL fail but you make an honest effort to stay on track you will find that it is not to difficult to have a balance between academics and social life.Good Luck
