The College of Business is very underrated nationally. If you are looking for a practical program, UIC is the right place…Business program not based on theories. Professors have real experience in the field they teach in. Faculties include senior managers and partners at big4 to traders who worked at Long Term Capital and Morgan Stanley to a former director of quant research at Citadel Investment Group. Other professors include an owner of a multimillion dollar oral care company to a professor who owns an investment firm in downtown. Another professor was a consultant to Playboy and an industry leader in the field of network marketing…the list can go on, but the point is that the professors have real life experience that will help you when you greaduate…Entrepreneurship is top 10 and finance/accounting is a top 50 program nationally. The reason it is underrated is due to its sister school down in urbana which is also a great school…At UIC, you will have to work hard to get a B and an A…Internships are easy to find in downtown chicago.
