I'm a second year student at the University of Toronto, and am transferring out next term. This is why…1) This is NOT a university. Everyone is busy about their own work, and during exam times are really rude and tense. 2) Besides this, the student body divides itself into theirracial groups almost instantly. I don't know why. Don't believe me, walk around the campus. 3) TA are not helpful. Basically, they teach out of the text book. And grade depending on mood. 4) There are not enough Professors, therefore you will not feel welcomed during classes or when you come to them asking for help. 5) Classes are way toooo big. Want proof? Go to a first year chem lecture. Be extremely careful when applying to this university. Walk the campus grounds, sit in for a lecture, ask a random student about their experiences. Also, U of T's rep is going down, as published in their own campus paper, they are now ranked 3rd in Canada. Best of Luck!
