Elon University has two very distinct sides to it. The academic side and the social side.

Academically Elon is a great to go to school and get a masters degree. Teachers are highly accessible, resources are plentiful and help is offered all the time. Classes are small and student engagement is at a premium.

Elon social life highly depends on what time of person you are. Are you an alcoholic, drug addict moron? Or are you an open minded and intelligent person? Elon students are extremely close minded and dimwitted. I honestly never thought the university would accept so many students with clear mental deficiency. I feel in time Elon may eventually weed those students out. However with Elon rapidly growing they need all the money they can get.

Don't be fooled by the southern location of Elon. Most students are out of staters. Many students are from the north. 70% of Elon students are the product of a spoiled childhood and were babied through high school. These students are undeserving of a college education.

Elons school size generally sucks. The students are generally the same bland version of a white preppy kid. There are no towns surrounding Elon of remote interest. The closest semblance to fun can be found at UNC Chapel Hill. All there is to do is to attend the various frat parties which of course are all filled with spoiled, rich white brats.

Do not go to Elon University. I would suggest a bigger university such as Wake Forest, Appalachian State or UNC Chapel Hill.
