Grinnell is a great school. Be prepared to work. There are no large classes or multiple guess tests. The classes are run like graduate school-lots of reading, discussion and papers, papers and more papers. The faculty are fantastic and very interested in you as a person. I have loved my education here! The students are friendly and accepting. There are no cliques. Students are extremely liberal but do not bother conservative students about their beliefs. Two downsides: 1)some students drink way to much, 2) a few students are too into proving how unique they are (they are not mean-spirited about it, just silly). It is easy to make friends and I have never felt so at ease. The campus is beautiful and well kept. The food is great. The weather is horrid from December to mid-March.
