Waste of money, especially for the what it costs to go here, like \(38,000 plus fees to go to this place. Not worth it.SRF:ELEMENTS:5xsrfOnce they have you and you're money they could careless about you as a student. At Elmira, they feed you this crap about you being a person and not a number (because it is such a small school), well that's not truth. You are a dollar sign.SRF:ELEMENTS:6xsrfDon't even get me started on the ridiculous freshman requirements. The Core Program consists purely of busy work for freshman students who are already stressed out making the adjustment to college. The Encore Program is the most pathetic program I have ever had to be enrolled in. Excluding the student productions, the Encore performances freshman and sophomore students are required to attend are laughable. Even the college president can't sit though them and is often seen sleeping during the performances.SRF:ELEMENTS:7xsrfThe food is horrible and the dining services staff members are EXTREMELY unsanitary.SRF:ELEMENTS:8xsrfThe classes are now getting bigger and bigger and the school is still too concerned over keeping up appearances then spending money to hire much needed faculty to accommodate the increase in student enrollment.SRF:ELEMENTS:9xsrfLike I said, if Elmira can keep on admitting more students, this means more \) from increases in tuition numbers, heck with ensuring an adequate number of faculty on hand to instruct all these students.
