So go to a liberal arts school then. That's your fault for not being smart enough to know Purdue isn't a liberal arts school. |
Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
Avoid Purdue Universitys Liberal Arts department. It is poor quality education. Purdue hires uneducated Professors that lack real world experience and exposure. The majority of the professors in the Liberal Arts department are not passionate about their subject area. These professors are only working a job. A high percentage of the faculty and staff have a job only because they are married to an engineering professor or have other family connections within the University. The Liberal Arts Department at Purdue University does not provide a quality education that prepares you for the real world. If you plan on attending Purdue, only major in science, agriculture, engineering, or Technology. I received a minor in Technology and the department is great. The staff and faculty are more focused and dedicated. Purdue Psychology department is a total mess. The liberal arts department is rated much higher than reality, because of Purdues power and engineering reputation. The faculty and staff in Purdue's Clinical Psychology Department lack ethics, character, and integrity.
