Case Western Reserve is a great University. Like many things in life, many students here don't know how great it is because they have nothing else to compare it to. Being a transfer student I can tell you; This is A GREAT University. The faculty members are helpful and the University staff does a consistently wonderful job. Case is small (only about 10,000 students). But it employs an empressive number of faculty given its size. Hence, each student receives MUCH more attention than many other Universities (i.e., U. of Texas - 75,000 students, NYU - 45,000 students, etc.). This also means that the parties here are very different than the ones you find at bigger Universities. I wouldn't say worse, just very different. The winter is cold and the summer is hot, but if you're looking for a place that offers all four seasons, Cleveland is great.
