Long Island U is what you make of it. If you're looking for crazy parties and open minded people, this is not the place for you. The weekends are dull, unless you go to a club(which is so expensive) or if you through your own party in your room. The RA's are usually friendly and let you have people over unless it gets out of hand. you definitely need a job if your going to live on campus. The food on campus is limited and has its days. The student center is HORRIBLE but rumor has it, its getting updated. The dorms don't give you much for your money and your not aloud to have microwaves. When you move in all you get is a dirty ugly couch and a bed and a counter. (suites) the regular dorms are a little nicer. the campus itself is beautiful but you wonder if all your money goes to that. Gym is really nice just got redone. this college was a great start off to get used to campus life, but NOT recommend staying here all four years. In fact I know of only a handful of kids who actually stay here all four years.

Bottom line, you pay a lot for very little here.
