This is a good school, but some could be changed for the better. The friends I met at GW in my freshman year stayed with me throughout the four years as I met new friends along the way. Most of my friends went to public high schools, leaving some humility with them and a perspective about treating people with respect regardless of income. I am from a middle class family and some people at this school passive aggressively pompous and are so snobby that they try to make you feel like you are poor because you do not arrive on campus with a luxury car given to me by my parents' work. They choose to spend their money differently and some people here put you down for coming from a family with less money. Their parents earned everything these kids have and the kids think they earned it and that people like me did not earn it. This attitude became more prevalent as the years went by. GW has to fix this sense of entitlement that pervades the wealthy student body. GW is doing something wrong. These fortunate students SHOULD be encouraged by the school, their parents, or be greatful of their own situation, to be involved in community service. Then, the students will graduate with a good perspective of people and wealth, a common value of humility and helping others while in a better position from when they arrived at college.
