Emerson is the perfect balance of a small college community in a big city environment. While it can be intimidating and the other students can put a lot of pressure on you to work your ass off, the benefits are huge. You can seriously go places here—more than most schools. Sometimes the administration/red tape is irritating, but I'd guess a lot of colleges are like that (as is anything run by an "institution")
