Gardner-Webb University is a waste of time.. It is a baptist school and they expect you to follow there values and beliefs. I am one of only 5 catholics here and its like a holding cell in a jail. People look down on you if you don't stand and sing songs the way they do. and its like they shun you if you don't carry a bible around.

The Atheltic teams are a joke. They are all talk and no bite.. Are football team walk around and act like they own the school. Half of the team are stupid and have no common sense and yet the staff and faculty treat them like royalty. Our basketball team are exactly the same way they have no skill. and when it comes to the athletes, they can come in drunk or hungover the professors just overlook them. The only reason why the atheletes are here is becasue no other school wanted them… and Gardner-Webb is desperate.

The one and only good thing about GWU is the fact that the prfessors are really nice and are so willing to help you. Yet they get treated like shit by the athletes.

Nightlife isn't too bad. I mean if you like to shop then you are 20 mins away from Gaffney South Carolina. you are like an hour away from Charlotte and all that jazz, and you can go skiing in boone and sugar mountain… other than that don't do anything on campus unless you want religion to be shoved down your throat 24/7
