I guess i concider myself bright/average, what ever that means. Everyones experience will be diffrent. Lipscombs a fine school. And dont get me wrong if your looking for a Christian atmosphere congragulations you found it. If your not so religious I would spend my dime at another school. The students are friendly and usually very nice. I met some very amazing people, friends I will have for a life time, but if you are intrested in an edgier crowd Vandy and Belmont would be a better choice. Plus Belmont and Lipscomb are some what competive and really Belmonts winning the game. The education is good and there are some very good professors who know what their talking about, but just as in every school you have to pick and choose who is actually good and who just gives you material to memorize. Some concentrations are better than others. You may find yourself disinfranchised with the value of your diploma out of state or even out of Nashville. Not to say that you cant be an ace in your major and get recognized at higher education establishments because you can (Ivy leauge, quality Grad. schools, Cambridge) Ive seen it happen. If you ask me, if Lipscomb got their shit together they could have a stellar reputation for quality education in medicine and business and not just theology. Also watch out if you want to transfer schools after going there. Your theology classes will most likley not transfer to other schools, which will put you behind in credits and just leave you with a further knowledge of the biblical texts.
