Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I was one of those people who walked into Full Sail blinded by all they could "teach" me in my quest to fulfill my love of music in the Recording Arts program. I started in September of 08, and thought that I would be out in the field in no time doing what I love to do. I made it through one month, but had to withdrawal because my loan fell through. Now that I'm out, I see just how badly they treat people. I withdrew in October, but I didn't even know how much I owed the school until close to January. Even then, for one month of classes and the computer, it was 7000 dollars. I had to leave the school because I couldn't afford it, and they're still going to screw me out of 7000 dollars? Those credits don't transfer, so really I'm paying 7000 dollars for a computer that really only costs about 2500 tops.Sure, my teachers were nice to me and I was able to speak to them on a personal level as well as a professional level, but it wasn't worth my time to go all the way down to Florida just to get financially bitch slapped one way or another. Don't buy into all the hype, because Full Sail only cares about the money you put in, and nothing more.
