USP is not for everyone. Just keep that in mind when you are applying. Ill start with academics. You have to study a lot. The science department really challenges you at this school, and tests are pretty tough, but as long as you study your fine.. I got all A's and B's on tests, finished the semester with a 3.5 and I'm no brainiac. I was just average in highschool, actually didnt care much about my grades just wanted to mess around, and i still did fine.

Studying takes up a lot of time, but that doesn't mean you cant go out. USP parties are ok, they're fun if your with your friends, but penn parties is where its at.. More people and free beer. Temple and Drexel are pretty fun too. Center City is fun if your goin to a bar or club.. thats about the only thing open past 8pm. The party scene at USP isn't too good (a good party every once in a while), but penn and drexel have some big parties.

You just gotta make the best of it here. You can't complain about studying a lot when you want to graduate as a doctor of pharmacy in 6 years. Yea your at a small school so theres not as much going on socially, but your in a huge city rite next to an ivy league university.. I've had some crazy times in philly and can tell you its not as beat as all the other comments have said.

P.S… I'm WHITE.
