It is typical of Moravian College to put down individualism…being a small school is no excuse. The music department is a nightmare, as it's not the typical program where it's safe to be a little Bohemenian. People on South Campus are WAY too concerned with other people's studies and not their own. Instead of practicing their instruments, the students gossip for three hours.

I can't wait until some of these morons go to grad school (which their parents are probably paying for) and they're not coddled by the small-minded faculty. Even the faculty act like they're in high school and have inappropriate relationships within their clique.

The "A-minus when students deserve an A" was an interesting point. That happened with one of my full unit classes. I actually calculated my grades, and I did end up with an "A" numerically. I participated and never missed a class session.

The flute professor decided she would diagnose me with Borderline Personality Disorder and compared me to the dead mother (because that's obviously her place). She was always saying vague things to me like

You like to hear yourself play.

I knew she was insulting me instead of giving me constructive criticism, but she was intent on treating me like I wasn't catching on. I now have a new flute teacher, because I was reliant enough to find one on my own.

I'm someone who says what I mean to people's faces. I insult people upfront if I hear them whisper. That's just who I am, because I'm not a snotty, white, overweight Delta Omicron girl.
