The university of Arizona is in my opinion a pretty bad university. Coming from out of state (New Mexico) you really aren't getting much more than you would going to UNM, which is why I am transferring back after this year. Firstly the classes are okay at most and I haven't really learned anything in my Precalculus class and in French I'm being taught things I learned in high school, so its really un-interesting. Last semester I had the fortune to have amazing Gen-ed teachers who taught me many things, but then I started this semester and its just boring and Im not exactly the most brilliant student ever. There is the mediocre academics but the worst part about this place is the social life, which is dominated by Greek life (Fraternities and Sororities) so you pretty much need to rush and be in some sort of Frat to have friends. I have a few friends that I can talk to occasionally but one of them is from New Mexico and he's leaving next year as well. Just get out as fast as you can!!!! Don't come here!!!
