I
have been very unhappy with what I have been hearing
about my alma mater in the last five years. The
Psychology Department is going down the tubes, probably due to
not getting accredited with APA. I would not recommend Capella
University to anyone right now. They take your financial aid,
may disenroll you for no reason during your last class
before graduation. You would then have about $60,000 to $150,000
of student loans to pay back with nothing to show
for it. They don't care about the students. There is
no due process or grievance policies followed through, students have
no say or voice in what happens to them.
Capella is a money mill for the executives that take
huge bonuses every year, and a bad marketing scheme. Stay
away, run away as fast as you can. And this
post is not Jeff LaMarca. There are many others, in
fact a growing group, Capella Watchdogs, that are not going
to let them get away with these practices any more.
